This time, it did not feel too lonely...
Let's take a walk #16 took place in what seems to be ages ago. I recall the fun of The Three Kings parade.
What surprise, what a pleasure to see my friend Christo just as I was ending the walk.
We kept following the parade together.
My friend went back to Switzerland, leaving behind her some great memories and an amazingly delicious home made Walnut Tart.
For those of you lucky enough to live in Zurich, Christo sells them in the market... Worth looking for.
I might conduct next walk from Indianapolis Looking forward to the next time. Bise mc

Let's Take a Walk Images
Let's Take a Walk. Still from video, 2010. Video shows montage of video footage received by Twitter participants who filmed their walk.
Let’s Take a Walk uses the phenomenon of Twitter so that people all over the world can join in a “group walk.” Requesting that they film their journey, the various footage are then assembled into a video installation showing the experience of our group walking in different places but moving synchronized through the same footprints…
Still from Performance, Let's Take a Walk #9
LTAW #9 featured a new addition to the work, inviting not only participants via Twitter, but also participants gathered from visitors to the Figment Art Festival on Governor’s Island (2010) to walk alongside me during the performance. It also introduced a town crier and drummer that helped lead the procession. I also wore a knitted overskirt that unraveled with each step, leaving a physical trace of our path.
